“TV360° Warmth Giving Activity by Tra Meakrua” was headed Mr. Sax Taninwat Pattanaveerakun, the host of TV program TV360°; Dr. Por Veerintira Nathongbocharat; and Mr. Arsawin – Ms. Ditheesidee Khanchanawisittaphol, Executive of Tra Maekrua. They marched the earth-care artists and newscasters of Ch3 such as Mr. Tok-Supakorn, Ms. Jenet Kiew, Mr. Big-Thongpoom, Ms. Namon Patcharawalai, Mr. Boss-Jukapun, and two smart newscasters, Mr. Nan-Yossapak and Ms.Botan Juthatip, to participate in the sheet donation. Furthermore, there was a livestream of the activity through TV programs: TV 360°, News Family(ครอบครัวข่าว), and Weather Time. In the activity, the artists from Rising Star 360° of V Academy, such as Toon Veekrit and Nam Naw, other artists, and the newscasters were a leader of each group to lead the news fan club to do many beneficial activities.
Mr. Sax Taninwat Pattanaveerakun said, “TV360° has not done the environmental activity for about 2 years. However, for this year, when the activity comes back, it can get much attention from many people since it is amusing and good for our environment. So that, I’m truly thankful to the admirable organization like Chuew Huad Company Limited and Tra Maekrua Company Limited which is the main supporter of this great activity. Significantly, this activity would not be successful if there was not the cooperation from the community, and the government organization like Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation which also supported the activity by the sheet donation.”
This warmth giving activity started on 11th January at Wiang Pha Wittaya School located on the valley where the weather was extremely cold. There were 700 students in the school, and most of them lived at the school. Therefore, this activity was to provide them sheets, sweaters, stationeries, the sports equipment, Meakrua® Oyster Sauce, and seasoning sauces of Gold Label® and Maekrua Gold Label®. The warmth giving activity was surrounded by the warmth, happiness, fun, smiles, and loveliness of many students who performed the hill tribe dance to welcome all participants in this warmth giving activity. Besides, students granted all participants the creative handmade souvenirs which were wholeheartedly made by themselves, as a thank you gift. Significantly, it was a great honor that Mr. Direk Homrod, Principal of Wiang Pha Wittaya School, was the school representative granting these souvenirs by himself. This warmth giving is considered as the courage giving since it could support or encourage the students who are the future of our nation to beat the cold. In addition to the warmth giving, the news fan club planted the organic vegetables that the students could cook for their lunches.
After giving the students warmth in the valley, the next warmth giving was done at the plain area at Wat Thung Yaw, Sritoy Sub-district. Before the giving activity in this area began, it was a great honor that Chiang Rai Vice Governner Akom Sukapan was the president of opening ceremony of this activity. Specially, there was the impressive welcome from two community leaders: Chief Executive of the SAO Sritoy, Mr. Chaleaw Naiyana, and Thung Yaw Headman, Mr. Chaiwong Chantem, and from Thung Yaw citizens who welcomed the activity participants with jasmine garlands, Thai handmade Northern cotton clothes, and Lanna dancing performance. At Thung Yaw, there were almost 2,000 cold weather disaster victims from 12 villages and students from 4 schools receiving the sheets, sweaters, stationeries and the sports equipment.
Besides the warmth giving, Tra Maekrua also promoted the organic vegetable consumption, and seasoning each dish by the products of Maekrua®, Gold Label®, and Maekrua Gold Label®. Thus, we held the cooking competition using local ingredients, and each dish was the famous dish of the North. Because of the North dish cooking, in the competition, there was a mentor, a local cook, of each group that made the competition more amusing and funny.

For this time, we realized the difficulty caused by the cold weather disaster, and it is necessary for everyone to help those victims; thus, Tra Maekrua also intentionally help those victims as possible as we can. Coming here, it is very grateful and proud for us to see the happiness and warmth of the people here. Finally, I’m truly thankful to TV360°, the news fan club, the related organizations, the community leaders, the artists, and Sritoy citizens for joining this activity,” Mr. Arsawin Khanchanawisittaphol, President Adviser and Manager of the factory of Chuew Huad Co., Ltd., and Tra Maekrua Co., Ltd. said.
The final unmissable activity of TV360° Warmth Giving Activity by Tra Meakrua was to make firebreaks at the forest around Huai Khao Lam Reservoir, Sritoy District because the wildfires can easily occur in the cold weather. This last activity was supported by Chiang Rai Department of Disaster Prevention. The department sent the officers to provide the knowledge on the firebreak. Many volunteers and artists said that in the past time, they had really wanted to do the activity for society, but they had not been given any chance to do, so this activity was considered as their great chance to be the giver, and do the good thing to environment and society.
“Although the weather is extremely cold, we can be relieved and warm owing to the kindness from Thai people.”
The sharing is the thing that can strengthen our society.
