Chuew Huad Company Limited and Tra Maekrua Company Limited have distributed MaeKrua® Oyster Sauce, and Gold Label® and Maekrua Gold Label® Seasoning Sauce for more than 40 years. Besides the distributors of many quality products, we are also the organization that places the importance on the environment conservation. On 22nd -24th December 2016, we held the activity called “TV360° Marine Conservation Activity by Tra Maekrua” at Sattaheap District, Chonburi, headed by Mr. Arsawin Khanchanawisittaphol, the modern executive who really cares for the environment. We realized the importance of the Thai sea, and Chonburi is the location of quality seafood factory of Tra Maekrua. Therefore, the marine conservation was our company’s main task. The main marine environment issue that is always found is water pollution by trash. Therefore, the solution of this issue is supporting the activity on keeping the coast and sea clean. The sea is as a good food source, and a nice relaxing place, so when the sea is dirty, the sea animal may be endangered.
Our marine conservation activity not only helped the sea clean, but also helped release endangered turtles back into the sea. The turtles are an endangered animal. If they naturally grow themselves, it may be hard for them to survive. Therefore, Sea Turtle Conservation Center in Chonburi preserves their existence by raising them safely in the center before returning them to the sea when they grow up to increase the percent of their existence. For us, it was unmissable to help the turtle preservation by cleaning the turtle pond to prevent the turtles from diseases.
Another marine conservation task of our company was mangrove forest planting. Mangrove forest is significant for ecosystem, and can protect the coast from wind damage.
The final task of our beneficial activity was sharing love with orphans, autistic children, or children who had cerebral palsy at Kru Boonchoo Home for Special Children, by donating many good things to them. In other words, the purpose of this activity was all intentionally done for society.
“TV360° Marine Conservation Activity by Tra Maekrua” was counted as another great success of our company since we had taken CSR to urge citizens to realize the importance of forest and water conservation in our nation.
